This is our most complete tour of the Island, as it covers more ground and more sights to see North and South!
Your tour begins as you travel north on a picturesque 10 mile coastal drive along the Tongass Narrows to scenic Potlatch Totem Park. Learn about our famous fishing and logging past as you pass by the old Pulp Mill and Ward Cove Fish Cannery. Once we arrive at Potlatch Park, go back in time and discover what a Native Fishing Village would have looked like back in the 1800"s, with it's majestically carved Totem Poles, Red Cedar Dug-Out Canoe, authentically built Clan House and Tribal Houses.
Explore the carving center were carver's hone their craft in live action. Stop by the Alaska Totem Trading Shop and Russian Museum. View a display of historically rare antique firearms, dating back from 1535-1868 along with displays of mammoth tusks, furs, ivory, and other fascinating curiosities.
There is also a collection of rare automobiles on site.
Back on board we then travel south thru the city of Ketchikan before heading to beautiful Herring Cove.
A quant Salmon Spawning River and Bay that takes you far away from the crowds and hustle bustle of downtown. Slow down and take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful wildlife area. During Salmon Season, Black Bears, Eagles, Heron and Seals frequent the area feeding on salmon as they fight their way upstream June through September. This tour also includes Creek Street and the "Red Light District."

All of our vehicles have public address systems and there will be restroom stops along the way.
Be sure to bring your camera and a pair of binoculars for closer viewing. Sneakers are recommended for the terrian. Our weather is unpredictable so we provide umbrellas on every coach and van.
